Activate Mobile In Facebook 2012

1. Login to Facebook.

2. Click Account button at the top right corner of the page and select Account Settings from the menu.

3. On the Account Settings page, click Mobile tab.

4. Click Add Phone.

5. It will open a small pop-up window, asking you to select your mobile carrier. If you find that your carrier is not listed in the drop-down menu, it means that your carrier is not currently supported for Facebook Mobile Texts. Select your mobile carrier (If available) and then click Next.

6. It will ask you to send a Text message to a number and in return you will get a code. Enter that code in the Confirmation code box.

7. If you want to share your number with your friends, than you can also click the box beside Check Share my phone number to my profile. By doing that, your friends can easily send you messages on your cell phone / mobile.

8. Click Next and That’s It. You have successfully activated your cell phone / mobile in Facebook.

9. If you want to receive text notifications on your Cell phone / Mobile, make sure you have SMS checked for the notifications you would like to receive. You can decide what notifications are sent to you via Mobile Texts by visiting the Notifications tab of your Account Settings page.
